Update: Antique Hydrangea & Pink Hydrangea

We have received many inquiries regarding the availability of the antique hydrangea and the pink hydrangea.  Usually the pink hydrangea become available about mid-May and the antique hydrangea about mid-June.  This year our farm has experienced a much cooler spring and the blooms are running about 3 weeks behind schedule.  This means that the pink hydrangea will probably not be available until sometime after the first of June, and the antique hydrangea will not be available until sometime after the first of July.

We will keep you up to date on the availability of these beautiful flowers as we receive more information about them.  If you have not already done so, please click on one of the packages of pink hydrangea or antique hydrangea and click on the ‘Notify Me’ button.  When those products once again become availble, we will send out an email notifying you of thier availability.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is anything else we can assist you with or if you have any questions about any of our fresh cut flowers or wedding flowers.

Rose Petal Quarterly Report

Interestingly enough, in the first quarter of this year we sold almost 5x as many freeze dried rose petals as we did fresh rose petals!

Could this be because freeze dried rose petals are less expensive and longer lasting than fresh rose petals?  Is this somehow connected to a decrease in consumer spending as a result of the state of the economy?  Or are freeze dried rose petals the new trend in wedding decor?

We don’t know the answer… we just thought those numbers were pretty interesting and worthwhile sharing!
