Availability Update - Antique Hydrangea
Attention Customers:
The farms that produce the antique colored hydrangea have been experiencing unseasonably cooler weather which has pushed back their production of Antique Hydrangea. Our farms have told us that they do not expect to have any antique colored hydrangea until after the first of August. As soon as they notify us that their production is on, or a more exact date of when we can expect them to be available, we will pass that information along to you.
As a result of the unseasonably cold temperatures and fog at our California hydrangea farms, the production of antique colored hydrangea is about 6 weeks behind schedule. They are expecting that production of the white and blue hydrangea will really pick up in the next week or two. Once bloomed, the hydrangea require about an additional 4 to 6 weeks on the plant to develop their antique coloration. The antique coloration of the hydrangea comes as white and blue hydrangea age on the stems.
For your information, white and blue hydrangea are readily available from our flower farms in South America. Unfortunately at this time none of our flower farms in South America offer the antique colored hydrangea.
If you have any questions about the antique hydrangea, availability, or any questions regarding any of our other wholesale flowers or wedding flowers, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 1-888-297-3000.
